I write this while healing from feeling under the weather due to an excess of celebrating, late nights, little sleep, consecutive parties, and back to back commitments.  Can you relate?   When our immune system takes a hit, we are forced to slow down or stop.  Ironically, my guest on the show this week was Beth LaVallee, who is a Louise Hay, “Heal Your Life” expert!  What impeccable timing to discuss “Extreme Self-Care, Holiday Edition.”  Beth and I spoke about the need for extreme self-care during the holiday season, and a deeper dive into the need to take care of ourselves like never before in this new year, this new decade.  We’re going to have to pause and ask ourselves what that means.  What do we need now?  We are doing more than ever before.  We are striving, supporting, up-leveling, showing up for others, taking on new projects, and expanding ourselves in new ways.  And that means we’re going to need more from ourselves.  There is a profound saying, “If you want something you never had, you have to do something you’ve never done.”  How about affirming yourself into being?  How about affirming your life into succeeding?   Affirmations are a powerful tool to get us where we want to go and invite the opportunities of the unknown.   Enjoy this powerful list of holiday affirmations Beth brought us.  And cherish this time of relaxation and celebration with those you love.
